Perugia 1416
14th/16th June 2019
Perugia will come back to 1416 from 14th to 16th June 2019 to celebrate the transition of Perugia from the Middle age to the Renaissance. During these three days, the centre of the town will be animated with historic parades, jugglers, waders, fire eaters, musicians and dancers.
This project (“1416”) is dedicated to Andrea Braccio Fortebraccio who was an important figure at his time. He was one of the most successfull and skilled commander of Italy. Thanks to this project Perugia wants to dedicate these three days to the discovery and the valorisation of a time, an art and a culture in which the commander lived. The project also wants to reintroduce the arts and crafts and to recover the cultural bonds of the time.
